UPDATE 9/19: Monica has finished her nursing duties. This big, beautiful girl is ready for her own home now. UPDATE 8/7: When Monica lost all of her own kittens, the shelter put some very young motherless babies in with her. She adopted them and took very good care of them. She has been a fabulous stepmom. UPDATE 7/10: 3 of Monica's kittens didn't make it and she is down to 1 baby, just a few days old. UPDATE: Monica is now the mom to 4 beautiful babies - they'd love to be raised in a foster home. Monica is a big gorgeous girl with bold mackerel markings. She is going to have kittens soon. She really needs a foster home. We could really use the help of local volunteers. Can someone come down to the shelter one or two days a week to help out? If so, please email us. Thanks!We are in URGENT need of foster homes! Please email us if you can short-term foster a cat while it awaits transport to a rescue.We're rescue-friendly! We have to put many nice cats down due to overcrowding. Rescues, please help!
